Our Process

  • Let's connect to discuss your architectural vision. Whether you're building on the Hibiscus Coast, across the North Shore, or anywhere in greater Auckland, up to Mangawhai, we're eager to understand your budget, design preferences, timeline and location requirements to create a bespoke building plan.

  • Then we visit your build location. Here you will be able to discuss what kind of designs are possible to build on your site with relevant figures and the surrounding services relative to your location in mind.

  • We are happy to collaborate with a designer of your choice or introduce you to one of our talented designers and recommend our experts when required. The conceptual phase will include a detailed site plan, floor plan, and elevations, and will require a nominal deposit to proceed. Once you're fully satisfied with the concept, our expert Quantity Surveyors will work with you to establish the costs for both the house and site development.

  • Once the concept and pricing have been agreed upon, we'll proceed by entering into a building consent agreement, which will require a second deposit. During this time, the designer will continue to develop the drawings to a level of detail sufficient for a building consent application, which typically takes 6 to 8 weeks.

  • As the drawings are being completed, we'll collaborate with you and our expert interior designer to carefully select the finishing touches that will elevate your build, including the kitchen design, electrical layout, and material and colour choices.

  • Finally, we’ll form a comprehensive contract and submit your building consent application (this typically takes 21 business days to process). Upon approval, you'll receive a detailed project timeline and construction will begin. We’ll provide ongoing consultation to ensure a seamless and successful outcome until your build is complete.

  • Once completed, our team will conduct a thorough walk-through of your project with you to ensure that you are satisfied with the outcome. During this process, we will provide you with all necessary information regarding maintenance, upkeep, and any warranties associated with the work we have done. We understand that your project is a significant investment, and our goal is to ensure that you have a complete understanding of how to properly care for it to maintain its longevity and quality. Our team will be available to answer any questions you may have, and we are committed to providing you with a seamless and stress-free handover process.
